Imori means alpine glaroni in Japanese. The hand-forged blade (Bo-Hi) is made of 1045 carbon steel (which is not stainless), the blade collar is brass. The fittings are black, decorated in gold, The handle wrap is Katate Maki (War-wrap) type of blue cotton, under which real stingray leather is placed. Two pins (Mekugi) fasten the blade to the handle. The sword comes with a certificate of origin, wrapped in cloth and packed in a high-quality wooden box.
