The Beretta APX semi-automatic pistol with recoil, is another highly realistic replica from Umarex. Originally designed as a replacement for the Beretta M9, standard issue for the US armed forces, but deemed too expensive for the Department of Defense, Beretta withdrew the APX and opted to modify the M9. The Umarex APX is constructed with a polymer frame and metal slide and features a true double-action trigger.
Sliding the cap open at the rear of the grip places the CO2 cartridge while just in front there is a metal magazine that accepts 19 BB 4.5mm steel balls.
The accessories can be easily mounted on the front Picatinny rail, giving the user a real training tool or a pistol for fun.
